Lady Ruth's Asana classes present a focused deep slow moving, but challenging vinyasa style class, with emphasis on physical alignment, breath awareness, mental focus and quietude with time for meditation and spiritual discussion, suitable for all levels. See below for bio.

RUTH LAUER MANENTI - BIO
Ruth started practicing yoga in her early 20’s after a serious car accident.She soon after went to India to take part in the Sivananda Teachers Training course. She then met Jivamukti Founders Sharon Gannon and David Life, became a student of theirs and later a teacher of their method. Ruth has made many trips to India studying with Sri K Pattabhi Jois and his daughter Saraswati and his grandson Sharath and has written permission from Sri K Pattabhi Jois to teach the primary and intermediate astanga yoga series as taught by Sri K Pattabhi Jois and his family. Ruth is also a Sanskrit student of Dr. M S Jayashree and Professor HV Rao. Ruth teaches Jivamukti yoga on teacher trainings, at schools in the US, China, Japan, India, and throughout Europe. She also teaches weekly at the Jivamukti School in NYC, and at Sadhana Center for Yoga and Meditation in Hudson, NY. Ruth has written three Yoga books An Offering of Leaves, Sweeping the Dust and most recently Fell in her Hands all published by Lantern Books. She is also an artist/printmaker and award winning photographer
